In addition to understanding the application of herbs for doshas and specific disorders, it is fascinating to know that herbs send their healing energy to specific organs. For example, Pippali has an affinity for the liver, while Guduchi has a natural connection with the blood tissue (rakta dhatu). Thus, herbs can target specific sites for prescribed therapies.

Furthermore, if a primary site is blocked along with a secondary site, an additional herb can be used to remove the initial blockage so that the second herb can travel to the latter site. For instance, if the blood tissue requires repair but the blood cell receptors cannot receive Guduchi, Kantakari is first used to correct the receptors. This ensures that Guduchi is received properly by the cells and reaches the blood tissue. This aspect of Ayurveda aligns with pharmacokinetics—the study of absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion.

Another important branch of Ayurvedic knowledge is pharmacodynamics, which involves the study of the action and effects of herbs on the doshas, dhatus, malas (wastes), and srotas (channels).

Pharmacotherapeutics focuses on matching herbs to people. Although not entirely foreign to Western medicine, sometimes drugs tested for one condition are found to help another. Conversely, unexpected adverse side effects can also arise. Ayurveda, however, reveals possible side effects of herbs (if any) beforehand, minimizing risks. Its core principle is 'cause no harm.' With a deep understanding of both uses and side effects, Ayurvedic practitioners can avoid mistakes and ensure safe treatment.

These causes aggravate the doshas, weakening tissues such as the skin, muscles, fat, bones, ligaments, blood, and tendons. As a result, swellings (abscesses) appear either internally (with severe pain) or externally on the body. Abscesses can be round or wide in shape and are classified into six types based on their origin:

 1. Vata (Vayu)

2. Pitta

3. Kapha

4. Tridoshas (Combined)

5. Blood-related

6. Trauma-induced

Symptoms of Abscesses

External Abscesses:

- It can occur anywhere on the body

- Hard, raised, and extremely painful

 Internal Abscesses:

- Deep-seated and more painful

- Grow upwards like an anthill

- Common locations include: navel, urinary bladder, liver, spleen, heart, abdomen, groin, kidney, or rectum

- Considered very serious

Types and Specific Characteristics

1. Vata (Vayu) Type:

- Severe pain

- Blackish-red color

- Slow to grow

- Irregular pus formation and discharge

- Uneven shape

- Throbbing, gaseous, and producing sounds

 2. Pitta Type:

- Red, coppery, or black in color

- Causes burning sensation, fever, thirst, and delusion

- Rapid growth and discharge

 3. Kapha Type:

- White in color

- Causes itching, nausea, coldness, and stiffness

- Slow to grow, form, and discharge

 4. Tridoshic Type:

- Combination of symptoms from all three doshas

 5. Blood-related Type:

- Surrounded by black eruptions and a bluish color

- Associated with severe burning, fever, and Pitta symptoms

- Usually external, except in the uterus

 6. Trauma-induced Type:

- Vata gets aggravated due to assault, poor lifestyle, or food

- Displacement of heat at the trauma site aggravates Pitta and blood

- Causes severe secondary complications

Site-Specific Symptoms

Near Navel: Hiccups

In the Urinary Bladder: Difficulty in urination, foul smell

In the Liver: Breathing difficulties

In Spleen: Difficulty in exhalation

In the Pancreas: Excessive thirst

All Over Body: Sharp pain, stiffness, or both

In Heart: Delusion, unconsciousness, chest pain, cough

Top of Stomach: Gurgling, pain in upper abdomen, ribs, and shoulders

In Groin: Stiffness in thighs

In Kidneys: Sharp pain in the waist, back, and ribs

In Rectum: Gas obstruction

Stages of Abscess Formation

Abscesses develop in three progressive stages—early, middle, and advanced. These resemble inflammatory edema in appearance.

- Above the Navel: Pus or blood may discharge through the mouth

- Below the Navel: Discharges may pass through the rectum

The characteristics of discharges also resemble those seen in ulcers rather than trauma-induced wounds. Abscesses in vital locations such as the heart, bladder, and navel, especially when ruptured internally, are considered incurable, particularly in weak individuals or when secondary complications develop.

Ayurvedic Treatment of Abscesses

The therapeutic approach in Ayurveda follows a three-stage process:

1. Cleaning the Wound – Using antiseptic herbal washes

Introduction:  In our modern world, fever is often feared and quickly suppressed with medication. However, in the ancient science of Ayurveda, fever is seen quite differently — not as an enemy, but as the body’s natural mechanism for healing and repair. Just as machines need occasional maintenance, our bodies too signal internal imbalance through fever. Understanding this response from an Ayurvedic lens opens the door to deeper healing, long-term immunity, and a harmonious life. 

What is Fever? In Ayurveda, fever is considered the “Lord of all diseases.” It is viewed as a warning signal indicating malfunction within the body's systems or the presence of infections. Fever’s heat is believed to destroy Ojas (the vital essence of life sap), and it afflicts the body, senses, and mind. It is regarded as one of the most powerful conditions because it can lead to death and is also involved during birth.

Types of Fever in Ayurveda:

Ayurveda classifies fever (Jwara) into the following main types:

  • Vata

  • Pitta

  • Kapha

  • Vata-Pitta

  • Vata-Kapha

  • Pitta-Kapha

  • Tridosha (Sannipatika - 13 types)

  • External causes (5 types)

Both Tridoshic fevers and externally caused fevers can be provoked by one or two predominating doshas, along with the blockage or depletion of Ojas
Additionally, there are five varieties of recurring fever (Vishama Jwara), commonly associated with malaria and related conditions.

Causes of Fever:

Fever is often caused by:

  • Poor lifestyle habits

  • Improper conduct against Ayurvedic principles

  • Overuse or misuse of oils

  • Inflammation, over-fatigue, or exhaustion

  • Wasting and indigestion

  • Intake of bad, toxic, or poisonous substances

  • Improper diet

How Fever Develops (Ayurvedic Perspective):

Introduction: What are sprouted foods are and why do they matter? Sprouted food has been considered the basic source of life and a major source of nutrition for thousands of years. It is also called Amrit Aahar. It is considered a major source of nutrients, having amazing properties and high food and nutritional standards.

Today, people's lifestyle has become completely modern, and most of the food has become devoid of nutrition and unnatural. Most people are becoming dependent on fast food, junk food and street food. Which has brought us to the doorstep of serious health problems and obesity. Medical science believes that the root cause of most diseases is wrong eating habits, lifestyle and thinking. In such a situation, sprouted food can be the right alternative to wrong eating habits.

In diet therapy, sprouted food is considered to be a living food. Since most of the food found in nature is alkaline, sprouted food improves health, purifies the body, and makes it full of disease resistance. For health protection, our diet must contain 20 percent acidic food and 80 percent alkaline food. Sprouted food has such a good effect on the health of our body that nowadays doctors consider sprouted food as medicine and recommend its use.

Sprouted food is the sprouted seeds of cereals or pulses which in the process of germination acquire the properties to preserve and enhance life. Therefore, it is believed that it has the properties to provide new life to a person and improve health.

Consuming sprouted food as a daily diet can balance the proportion of food requirements and can be important in maintaining health.

Everyone can use sprouted food, but initially it should be taken in small quantities and chewed well. Cucumber, tomato, green chilli, black salt, coriander leaves, and lemon can be added to it to enhance the taste. Sprouted food not only has high nutritional value but also costs less. If a sick person consumes it, he gets free from the disease, and if a healthy person consumes it, he protects himself from many diseases, along with health promotion. In this way, the principle of Ayurveda, Swasthya, Swasthya Rakshanam Aturasya Vikaar Prasham, is followed literally.

Especially sunflower, moth, green gram, gram, fenugreek, cowpea, alpha, soybean, wheat, etc., can be sprouted and consumed as per the requirement or as per the doctor's advice. Special care is required while sprouting wheat so that it does not get fungus. Therefore, a glass jar should be used to sprout wheat, and it should definitely be exposed to sunlight in the morning.

Method of preparing sprouted food: Sprouting of moong, gram, dana, fenugreek, and other such seeds can be done very easily with the help of a glass jar or a wet cloth. First of all, the germinating seeds should be washed with water, and the rotten and broken seeds should be removed. After that, they should be put in a jar. It should be filled with four times more water. After soaking it in water overnight, it should be washed with clean water the next morning and tied with a clean cotton cloth. It can also be hung in a suitable place. In summer, cold water should be sprinkled on it many times, so that moisture is maintained. The next day, small sprouts come out in it. Generally, sprouts come out quickly in summer and a little later in winter. In the glass jar, also, cold water should be sprinkled from time to time as needed.

Sprouted food should not be used after being it for a long time. It should be used immediately after germination. Foul-smelling, stale sprouts should not be used. It should be cleaned thoroughly in water before eating.

The seeds selected for use as sprouted food should be fresh, new, clean, healthy, disease-free, and without chemical treatment. Old and diseased seeds do not germinate well and are also not healthy. Therefore, before use, pebbles, stones, soil, etc., should be removed, and then it should be used for germination.

After preparing the sprouts, they should be thoroughly washed and cleaned before use. During the process of germination, some seeds do not germinate and should be selected and removed. Sprouted food should be used raw because eating cooked food reduces its nutrients and nutritional value, so cooking, frying, or baking it is not appropriate from a quality point of view.

Benefits- Sprouted food is natural, fresh, and completely alive food. It is very easily digestible, tasty, nutritious, and reduces obesity. 

After germination, the quantity and availability of vitamin C, iron, vitamin B, phosphorus, and niacin increase. Thus, it is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals. The starch found in it is converted into glucose, fructose, and maltose. This not only enhances the taste but also increases its digestibility. In today's time, especially women are very worried about their shapely figure, and due to today's modern lifestyle, it is not possible to maintain it. How Food Quality Shapes Human Behavior (Ayurvedic Perspective)

Introduction: In my childhood, I heard from my father," jaisa Ann (food), waisa mann (mind)". means that as we take food, our mind acts accordingly. Later, it was observed to be very true because in Ayurvedic Sciences, it was clearly mentioned that the food develops Ojas, and Ojas is responsible for the act and governs the mind. Now, this is the matter to take serious thought. If food is not as per the rules of nature, then a man can't say himeslef a human being. 

What does it mean to be called a human?

Human: In common meaning, " human" can be suitable as

Uunique

Mmammals

Aaccustomed (to live)

nature 


Yes. The above meaning is absolutely design by the supreme power means GOD and given all the the social behaviour in plenty and make the human as humble to every creatures, unique in making decision and common sense to determine right or wrong, a mammals that can reproduce and nurture their child, also accustomed to live in the Nature and along with the Nature. BUT, a question always sticks in mind whether "HUMAN", a powerful genius created by the Almighty, is really wearing all the characters as explained above. Absolutely, the answer will be NO. Some people may say it is partly okay. 



This is a serious discussion among societies as to why people behave like cruel creatures and destroy nature by misusing their power and potential. Is it correct? Who is permitted for humans to destroy the dwelling of other creatures and demolish the Natural Laws where a food chain and food web are given to behave within limits. This blog does not raise a finger at others, but it is a matter of self-introspection, especially nowadays, where man is leaving their auspeciousity. 

Whether we are taking satvik bhojan (pure food)? No. I will not agree if you say yes, too. Because I have seen the killing of the animal very brutally only just to satisfy the taste upon the tongue, as we know nothing is either tasty or tasteless when food leaves the mouth and moves towards the oesophagus, then the question is whether the brutal killing animal for the food material was necessary? When plenty of other food material is available in Nature. Whether we think a little bit when an animal waiting for its number at a butcher shop to be killed. Think about what would be the stress to an animal and the hormone imbalances in the body. As we know, every creature has common sense to protect itself from hunting, but being kept in closed cages and waiting for the number to be killed was not a joke. Think for yourself if it would be for us? Now, come to the point, the killing and hunting of animals comes under cruelty and against humanity, and the cells of those animals that become meat may react abnormally and alter the gene sequences of the body, resulting in many incurable diseases. Not only the diseases, but also the creation of cruelty and reducing the power of determination of right and wrong in human beings.


The food is the main source to generate the energy in the body. Satvik food (Pure food) generates an auspicious mind and energy to the body, whereas the Astvik food (impure food) generates negative energy to the body. In this, taking food is highly responsible for shaping the behavior in our society. A satvik food eater develops calm behaviour compared to others, whereas an asatvik food eater may develop violence in society. Have you ever seen the digital media's upcoming daily news, and might observe that the criminality growing in society is inhuman behavior.


Conclusion: We should note that if we are not warring with other creatures, in return, the same will come to us sooner or later, and this is happening, so we may think about it multiple times and correct ourselves before the correction takes place by the nature because it may be hazardous one.

Natural calamities and ways to avoid them...

At present, almost all countries are facing natural calamities. There are so many hazards like famine, flood, storm, etc. In India, floods occur in many places of Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Bengal, Bihar, Punjab, Kashmir, and Rajasthan. There is a fear of famine in Gujarat. New diseases are spreading. Apart from these, small incidents like lightning strikes, sinking of boats, etc., occur almost daily. Unemployment is also there. In short, people are suffering everywhere. What is all this, and why is it happening? The real answer to this can only be given by those who know the secrets of karma who know the state of the inner world, however, based on the scriptures and the experience of saints, it can be said that all this is the result of our bad deeds and we are getting it by the grace of God to purify us. The light of God's grace comes in various forms; sometimes it appears in a very gentle form, and sometimes in a very fierce form. Those who recognize Him can see His peaceful and sweet image, which destroys the three troubles even in that horrifying form. He experiences the grace of God in all situations. He feels thrilled to receive the soft touch of his only beloved in every stroke and considers himself extremely fortunate and happy. But those who do not recognize Him, cry and feel sad; but they too find wealth in adversity, and call out to God with a much more sincere heart in sorrow!

Nothing is irregular in this world. Everything is governed by the rule of Bhagwati Shakti, which is full of truth, justice and mercy. She creates, nurtures, and destroys the bodies of living beings in various ways based on their karma and wants to lead them on the path of eternal welfare. Just as the work of creation and sustenance is done everywhere,


But when, according to some unknown law, a lot of destruction takes place at one place at the same time, we shudder as if it is some extraordinary event, and think that everything has been destroyed. But this is not the case. When lightning flashes repeatedly, clouds thunder, storms come and torrential rain starts pouring down, then the traveler of the wet planet, shivering with cold, wonders whether this torrential downpour will stop or not; but in a short while the clouds disappear, the sky becomes clear, the rays of the sun spread their light everywhere and the traveler happily moves towards his destination. This is the nature of the world. There are always ups and downs in it; every moment there is change, transformation, death, and creation. In fact, only one playful person plays in this whole play, and that creator himself assumes the role of the law. His grace is inseparable from him. We do not recognize him; this is our delusion. The devotees and the wise know Him; that is why they are always happy; even the greatest sorrow cannot shake them from that happy state.

However, all the characters have to act and should act according to the nature of the play. That is why the wise and the devotees cry on seeing the pain of the suffering people and try to remove their pain with their body, mind, and wealth. In fact, only the wise and the devotees want to remove the pain of everyone, because the nature of their inner self is to remain engaged in the welfare of all beings and to be 'without any hatred towards everyone and to be everyone's unconditional friend and kind.

Those whose hearts are not moved by the pain of the suffering, those who are not moved by the pitiful cries of the afflicted, let alone becoming wise and devotees, such people have not even reached the state of humanity yet. Those who remain indifferent to any suffering creature by pretending to be the result of sins, those who do not get the opportunity to be moved by the pain of the suffering in the pride of their wealth and position, such people are unfortunate, and they usually accumulate sins. Therefore, everyone should always be ready to serve the suffering beings with body, mind, and wealth as far as possible. One should serve according to his strength. One should never become proud after serving and should not think that I have shown some kindness to those whom I have served, they are below me, I have done them a favour, they should be grateful to me, or they should be grateful to me. Rather, one should understand that God has shown me great kindness by giving me the fortune and strength to serve; If someone has received some happiness through me, it is his fate, this thing has come for him, and God has provided him with that thing through me; I do not own anything, I am just an instrument. There is no reason for me to be proud. The fact is that whatever we have- knowledge, intelligence, body, mind, wealth- all is God's inheritance, His thing. Wherever He needs something, it is our duty to surrender that thing to Him with respect and a happy mind. Wherever there is famine, He asks for food; where there is drought, He wants water; where everything has been washed away in the flood, He wants food, clothes, and shelter. In such a situation, whatever we have of His, we should immediately give it to Him to please Him. We should worship Him with His things. In this way, one who serves distressed beings with the feeling of worshipping God attains God's presence or God's love, which is rare even for sages. And the wise should serve in this spirit. One who gets the highest results from their actions. Only he who can do so is intelligent.

Here, a question arises that can't the coming of divine calamities be stopped in any way in the world? The answer to this is that as long as the world exists, they can't be completely destroyed, but they can certainly be reduced. The period in which divine calamities are less is called Satyuga, and the reason for this is our own actions. The great sages have said that 'when the rulers of the country, city and village and the people following them get involved in adharma, under the influence of lust, anger, greed and pride, they start lying, violence, theft, adultery, insulting the cultured and ignoring the scriptures, then the gods instead of protecting them abandon them. This is why rain does not occur at the right time; if it occurs, then it is less rain at some places and excessive rain at others. The air does not flow properly, the land becomes polluted, water dries up, and medicine loses its nature. Due to the increase of greed and anger, terrible wars break out, people lose their livelihood, and earthquakes, thunder, and floods start. People without religion become corrupt and insult their Guru, elders, Siddhas, Rishi, and revered people, and do harm to the,m and finally get destroyed by the curse of those Gurus!' If truth be told, this is what is happening nowadays. The following ten things are the essence of the remedies given in the scriptures to avoid such a crisis:

1-Adherence to truth. 

2-Kindness towards unhappy creatures. 

3- Satvik donation from body, mind, and money.

4- Worship of the gods in the proper manner.

5- Good conduct.

6- Observing celibacy.

7- Obeying the orders of the scriptures and Jitatma Maharshi.

8- Company of religious and virtuous people.

9- Cow service, making arrangements for grazing land for cows.

10- Self-defense through mantras in the name of God.
